Ghazal no.3

1.

Translation

1.
Repose would have come if the skirt granted shade,
It would have been grand feeling as cloud groaned.
2.
If the lock of hairs fly away sometimes on the rosy cheeks,
Gardens will feel disgusted and the nets will be vexed.
3.
If the carved arms in alienation moments just quivers,
Machetes will keep on crying and prophets would groan.
4.
If machete like eyebrows come to the side as confident companion,
Custodian will be petitioner and highwayman will be despondent.
5.
If in alienation the oppressor passes sometime from the lane, Glad tidings will be alert and the cheerful will be the very end.
